The terms and conditions below regulate the use of the website and govern the basis of the relationship between you and us. Please also refer to our Privacy Notice.


1.1. The use of this website (The website) is based strictly on the terms & conditions set out below. Thus if you “DO NOT” agree to these terms and conditions, you MUST cease all use of the Website immediately. You may print and keep a copy of these terms, for your personal reference as they form a legal agreement between you and us which can only be modified with our consent.


2.1. We operate one of the largest UK spare parts locator website used by hundreds of car dismantlers / recyclers and motor trade suppliers across the country that are willing and able to provide you with free quotations for parts they may stock that you seek quotes for. We DO NOT SUPPLY you with any goods directly or indirectly. Our main purpose is to act as an Information Provider on the potential sourcing of parts matching your Parts Request from our subscriber network.

2.2. In addition to the quotes service offered we may occasionally offer other services and advertising to our web site visitors.


3.1. The 247Spares website is subject to free registration and provides a “Quote Only” service for new and used vehicle parts across the United Kingdom subject to;

3.1.1. You agreeing to our Terms & Conditions of Use of our website.

3.1.2. You completing a Parts Request form.

3.1.3. Upon completing a Part Request form, you agree to provide basic details of your vehicle make, model, year, engine capacity, part(s) requested and or OEM numbers, descriptions and any additional information that will assist in identifying the correct part required.

3.1.4. Provision of your personal contact details comprising of your names, postal code, email address, fax, mobile and any other contact telephone numbers.

3.1.5. There is no charge for our service to supply quotes unless you proceed to take up a quotation reference in which case you will be charged for the telephone call to our Network Subscriber in accordance with the charges set out in Section 7 below or where you choose the optional SMS Text A Quote service there is an additional one off Set Up Charge as described in Section 7 below.

3.2. If you opt to receive notification of any quotes by SMS text message we will require you to set up the service by;

3.2.1. Replying with the word “Parts” to the short code “87121” to activate the service.

3.2.2. Please note there is a one off charge of £1.50 to activate this service, plus the cost of a single network message in response to our free activation text.

3.2.3. Activating this service does not guarantee you will always receive text quotes as the £1.50 charge is only to activate the service on a UK registered mobile phone number.

3.2.4. Once the service has been successfully activated, all “TEXT QUOTES” will be sent FREE of charge to the mobile phone used to activate the service, for each reference number provided.

3.2.5. The number of quotes sent is “unlimited”, but subject to a fair use policy.

3.3. By completing the parts request form, you give consent to allow us to forward all the information you have registered and provided on the website and other data we have obtained from third party databases about your vehicle, to Network Subscribers for the purpose of obtaining their no obligation quotes in response to your enquiry.

3.4. We deem a quote to have been provided only by making it available on our website for your inspection and when we have communicated this fact to you by email or text, with a reference number and a pin.

3.5. All quotes and references will be stored on our website for a period of thirty days for your convenience and retrieval, from the date it is first quoted. Thereafter the details will be removed.

3.6. By providing quotes in response to your enquiry, we do not guarantee that the parts are reserved specifically for you, because spare parts suppliers deal with matters on a first come first served basis and we make no contract with you for the supply of parts.

3.7. We make no representation that any Network Subscriber providing a quote will enter into any contract with you for the supply of any goods whether described in a quotation communicated to you by us or otherwise.

3.8. We will not hold your submitted personal data in relation to your quotation(s) for more time than the period in 3.5 above. Should you wish to remove your data at any time you may request the removal of your data.


We use several means of communication to facilitate the forwarding of the quote(s) you have requested which comprises of:

4.1. Emails

4.1.1. Where a valid email address is provided, the first email received from us is a Parts Request Confirmation Email which contains information about the enquiry you have submitted to the system, which contains your part reference number, login pin number and general advice about using our service.

4.1.2. If any of our Network Subscribers has the requested part available for sale or can obtain the part for you to order, you will receive one or more emails notifying you that a Quotation for your part has been received by us for your consideration.

4.1.3. Emails notifying you of quotes requested will contain the following information only: Your vehicle details and Registration Number The 247spares Network Subscriber Reference Code providing the quote The Telephone Number to contact the Network Subscriber about their quote Your Part Request details The Network Subscribers Part Description. The price quoted by the supplier at the time the quotation is issued to us The condition of the part i.e. used, new or reconditioned. Where applicable the carriage costs for the part and any other additional notes attached to the part quote provided by the supplier. Any Warranty Period covering the part to be supplied. Anticipated Delivery Time from the Network Subscribers acceptance of any order for supply. Your Quote Reference Code and PIN Code to allow access to the Online Quote System

4.2. Text Messaging

4.2.1. Text messaging is a facility by which SMS texts are sent to your mobile phone handset which must be either on a contract or pay as you go tariff and registered in the United Kingdom. They consist of two types for our purposes:

4.2.2. SMS Text Alerts: If your mobile number is correct and valid we may send an SMS alert free of charge to your handset. The message will contain a Reference Number and PIN Code so that you can login to our Customer Login Area to retrieve your quote(s). This is essentially a courtesy SMS from us sent to you and its only purpose is to inform you that quote(s) are available to be retrieved online.

4.2.3. Text A Quote Service: This is a communication option which you must activate of your own accord, by selecting “yes” on the online parts request form. Charges for this optional service are described in Section 7 below. Activation will only take place after you receive a free SMS text from us, which requires you to reply with the word “Parts” to 87121. Please note that one SMS Text message is limited to 160 characters and as a result we will only provide the following information: The cost of the part. The condition of the part. A contact telephone number for the supplier. And or a request for further information from a supplier.

4.2.4. If you wish to view the quote in further detail as opposed to being limited to the information in a text you will need to revert to the Customer Login Area to view full details of quotes, which will be held on the website for a period of 30 days from the date it was posted.

4.3. Customer Login Area

4.3.1. This is a free utility hosted by on its website to be used for the sole purpose of retrieving quote(s) only.

4.3.2. To use this facility you need to enter your reference and pin number which is generated on screen and sent to you by email and courtesy text alert.

4.3.3. Quotes can only be retrieved if a supplier has responded to you, and we have alerted you to this fact via email or SMS alert.


5.1. All notification emails and quotes retrieved from the customer login area will contain a supplier's contact telephone number provided to us.

5.2. Contact telephone numbers will be 070 based numbers;

5.2.1. Numbers beginning with the prefix 070 are described as “Follow Me” numbers. These numbers are provided by third party telecoms to facilitate communication with a spare parts supplier, as many of them may have multiple locations and telephone numbers. This service allows you to connect to the supplier directly regardless of location.

5.2.2. All contact numbers beginning with the prefix “070” have a call back and voicemail facility enabled which you can use at any time by selecting the appropriate option from your handset and then following the simple instructions to leave a voicemail message or a contact telephone number to be called back on.

5.2.3. We recommend you use a landline to make calls to these numbers as some mobile networks charge higher rates.

5.2.4. This service exists to allow you leave voicemail and a contact telephone number for supplier(s) if you are unable to establish contact in the first instance. We reserve the right to change these numbers from time to time.

5.3. Please note that all communication sent to you through our website carries the “247spares” logo to ensure that you are fully aware that the message has passed through our website and to ultimately protect your privacy.

5.4. However we do not accept responsibility for the accuracy or the contents of the quotes provided which are generated by a variety of spare parts suppliers across the Country.



6.1.1. The agreement between you and us is for the provision of information in the form of “quotes” only for spare parts for your personal comparative purposes to facilitate you in locating parts to buy from potential suppliers subscribe to the 247spares Network.

6.1.2. You accept that the communication of any quotes to you by us is provided subject to your initial request and the provision of all required information and or confirmation of your vehicle details with reference to the Vehicle Registration Number held by DVLA.

6.1.3. By using the website and our service, you acknowledge and accept that all information provided in the form of quotes is solicited by you and arises at your behest by the completion of our online parts request form with your personal contact and vehicle details.

6.1.4. We do not accept any responsibility for errors entered on the part request form as it is your sole responsibility to ensure that all appropriate data is entered correctly and appropriately reviewed before submitting it to us.

6.1.5. We do not accept any responsibility for any errors made in quotations passed to you from our Network Subscribers.

6.1.6. You accept that we do not review quotes or their contents and are not involved in any transactions between buyers and sellers, or any contract concluded, if any quote is pursued further by you.


6.2.1. By providing quotes for comparative purposes to you does not act as a supplier of goods.

6.2.2. By submitting your information to us you accept that your request is for quotes only and that this does not form or constitute a contract for the supply of goods or services on our part.

6.2.3. does not engage in any form of consumer selling as we do not sell, exchange, stock or deliver goods of any sort. We merely provide an Information Service for the provision of third party quotations for spare parts which arises at your request.

6.2.4. You acknowledge that none of the quotes provided through this website constitutes an offer, invitation to treat or a counter offer of any sort made on behalf of Citynet Datacom Ltd or its affiliates and successors and neither does it form the basis for any contract(s) at all between you and us. The information provided by us are merely no obligation quotes provided from third parties subject to your request.


6.3.1. You accept that we have completed the agreement between us, which is for the supply of information only, by communicating quotes raised at your request when they are sent to you by the communication means provided.

6.3.2. In the event that you choose to pursue any quote provided by us you accept that you will be charged for the call by your Telecom Provider at the relevant Tariff including where your contract with them (whether on a Pay As You Go or a monthly/quarterly contract basis) provides for such calls within a call package.


6.4.1. You accept that by responding to your request for comparative quotes we do not constitute a third party or act as agent (implied or otherwise) for the purposes of any contract(s) to be concluded between you and any supplier.


6.5.1. You acknowledge that we do not sell any parts for any vehicle, and accept that our service is an Information Service only.

6.5.2. You accept that at no point do we have possession of any parts, inventory or control the contents of any quotes received or deliver or arrange for the delivery of any goods to you. We are only responsible for the formatting of communications designed to disseminate quotations provided to us by our Network Subscribers.

6.5.3. You accept that we do not have any control over the quality of parts, their safety, and the truth or accuracy of quotes received or forwarded to you from suppliers or offer any guarantee in relation to goods supplied to you by our Network Subscribers or others you may contract as a result of pursuing any of the quotes we communicate to you.


7.1. You will not be charged for our service if we do not receive any quotes from our Network Subscribers in response to your enquiry or you do not pursue any quotation sent to you and you do not set up the SMS TEXT A QUOTE Service.

7.2. If you pursue a Quote provided by us with one of our Network Subscribers you will incur a charge for the call made to that Network Subscriber on the number provided by us. The Network Subscriber numbers provided by us are Personal Phone Numbers (also referred to sometimes as “Follow Me” numbers) to facilitate call routing to Network Subscribers with multiple inbound line and mobile call reception facilities.

7.3. The maximum charge you will incur for making a call to our Network Subscriber numbers from a BT landline number is £0.50p per minute inclusive of any connection fee. The actual charge will vary dependant on your service provider’s tariff but will not exceed the maximum stated above.

7.4. The optional TEXT A QUOTE SERVICE will incur the following charges:

7.4.1. A SetUp fee of £1.50 – this is a one off charge for every account Set-Up instance.

7.4.2. You will only be charged the Set-Up fee when you reply to the FREE Activation Text sent by us at your request.

7.4.3. The Set-Up Charge is non-refundable.

7.4.4. There are no recurring charges for use of the Text A Quote Service.



8.1.1. Access to our website is for lawful purposes only.

8.1.2. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this website.

8.1.3. You must not use our website in any way that breaches the terms of any current legislation or in any way that is deemed unlawful.

8.1.4. You must not do anything which breaches the security of our website as we may pursue you for all consequential loss or damages suffered as a result of your actions.

8.1.5. You must ensure that your login details are kept secure and confidential at all times.

8.1.6. You are permitted to use this website for your own purposes and to print and download material from this website provided that you do not modify any content without our consent or re-publish the material in any form whether online or offline and by any technical means not yet invented or realised.

8.1.7. You may not link to this site without our permission.

8.1.8. If permission is granted to link to our site you must not misrepresent your relationship with us or present any false information about us to others. You may only link to our home page and may not reproduce it in any way. You must not imply that we are endorsing you any or any services or goods you supply unless that is specifically agreed in writing with us. We expend all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all information found on the Website is accurate and correct to the best of our knowledge but cannot accept any responsibility for the accuracy of information supplied to us by others and displayed on our website or in any communications generated by your use of this site.

8.2.3. If you find any information on the Website which is inaccurate or wrong please let us know and we will endeavour to correct it, where we agree, as soon as is reasonably practical.

8.2.4. You may ask us to correct or remove information about you.


8.3.1. All information made available to you through our Website (”the information”) is provided subject to your request for comparative quotes for new and used vehicle spare parts, which are derived from a variety of spare parts suppliers across the Country.

8.3.2. Consequently whilst we agree to use reasonable care in all our endeavours regarding our website we do not warrant that the information provided by spare parts suppliers, which is forwarded to you as quotes is true, correct or complete and further we exclude all the conditions, terms warranties both express and implied, statutory or otherwise in respect of the provision of quotes as requested by you to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8.3.3. We make no representations whatsoever about any other websites which you may access through our website or which may link to our website.

8.3.4. When you access any other website you understand that it is independent from us and that we have no control over the content or availability of that website. In addition, a link to any other website does not mean that we endorse or accept any responsibility for the content, or the use of, such a website and we shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any content, goods or services available on or through any other website or resource.

8.3.5. Any concerns regarding any external link should be directed to its website administrator or web master.



8.4.1. We will endeavour to ensure that access to the website is available 24 hours a day however we do not accept any liability for our failure to do so, for events arising from matters beyond our control.

8.4.2. We may for operational reasons, and at our sole discretion change the domain names which the Website is made available under; or suspend the provision of the Website for cyclical maintenance or because of a fault, without prior notice.

8.4.3. In certain circumstances we may be prevented or hindered in providing you with access to the Website or communicating with you through the website due to circumstances beyond our control. Including when but not be limited to acts/incidents of fire, storms, power shortages, reduced service by any Internet Service Provider or Hosting Provider, which affect connections to the Internet as well as server crashes, deletion, corruption or loss of data, acts of war and terrorism.

8.4.4. In the unfortunate event of any loss of service or times of seriously reduced service we shall use our best endeavours to mitigate any impact caused to you by carrying out all and any obligations or duties in other ways available to us which are reasonable and practical at the time.


9.1. We have a Privacy Policy available for you to consult on our website.

9.2. The following applies to any information you provide us;

9.2.1. By requesting a quote on our website you authorise us to use, store, and process any personal information which identifies and relates to you, including but not limited to your name and postal code and details of your vehicle.

9.2.2. You authorise us to use your personal details and other information supplied to us by you to obtain comparable quotes for new and used parts to meet your requirements. This shall include liaising with a variety of spare parts suppliers across the country, our successors (including the purchaser of the whole or part of our business), associates, sub-contractors and other authorised third parties who may subsequently contact you and use that information for the same purposes.

9.2.3. You may request the personal data that we have on record for you by contacting our Data Protection Officer. You may also request that the data that we have is removed in accordance with your right to erasure.

9.2.4. We will only hold your details for 30 days from the time when you submit your request to facilitate your request for a quotation. You may write to us at any time asking us to delete you from our database.

9.2.5. By using our website to request quotes for spare parts you agree to ensure that all pertinent information pertaining to your identity, vehicle, model, parts requested and other vital information shall be provided correctly and that where errors occur no fault shall lie with us. In the event that you do not provide accurate information, you may contact us to correct any incorrectly provided information by you.

9.2.6. You are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle registration mark interface correctly displays your vehicle registration, before submitting your request as this is a service provided by a third party, which we have no control over and do not accept any responsibility for regarding its contents.

9.2.7. Your information will be encrypted and Cloud based. We use Google Services. We will do our utmost to keep your information secure during the period that we hold your information.

9.2.8. Our systems are automated and operate in “real time”. We only use your information for the purposes of performing our contractual obligations with you. Our systems do not profile or make decisions for the purposes of the GDPR.

9.2.9. We will notify you should there be any security breaches.


10.1. We do not offer Warranties or Guarantees of any sort as we do not deal in the sale or supply of any vehicle spare parts and neither are we a party to any contracts to supply them to you.

10.2. We do not promote, warrant, endorse or guarantee products of any manufacturer or franchisee sold to you by others as a consequence of any quotation provided by us to you.

10.3. We do not guarantee that you will receive a quote for any parts described in your submitted Parts Request . Form(s) as the quotes are generated by our Network Subscribers and the contents and incidence of these are therefore outside our control.

10.4. We do not promote, endorse, guarantee or recommend any manufacturers products and neither are we affiliated with any companies registered with us as Network Subscribers.

10.5. We do not guarantee that by using our website you will receive any quotations, this is outside our control and completely dependant on stock levels held by suppliers at the time your make you enquiry for quotations.


11.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall have no liability whether in contract, tort or otherwise for; any loss or damage suffered to your goods or property (as we have no contractual agreement with you for the sale and supply of any goods whatsoever).

11.2. Direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages including loss of profit whether caused by the supply of the services we provide through our Website or information set out on our Website is excluded.

11.3. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer, under applicable law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way do we seek to exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury arising from the service we provide to you.

11.4. We do not review any quotes received for accuracy or content and we do not interfere or amend them under any circumstance as they originate from the supplier Network Subscriber, and remain outside our control. We will therefore not be liable for any losses or damage that may occur as a result of any quote being misleading or not otherwise suitable for your purposes. We exclude any liability for any loss arising out of or under any contract you make with a third party as a result of any quotation we provide to you.

11.5. Our liability to you is limited to

11.5.1. The cost of the relevant phone call made by you in pursuit of any quotation provided by us or

11.5.2. To £1.50 in the event of any Text A Quote Service not being provided

11.6. It is your responsibility to seek advice before entering into any contract for the supply of parts to you by any of our Network Subscribers. As 247spares is not a party to any such contract for the supply of parts any loss you incur as a result of any such contract is hereby excluded from our agreement with you.

11.7. In the event that you do not act on any quotation provided to you within 30 days from when the quotation becomes available to you we exclude liability of any loss you may incur.


12.1. You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in and to our Website is and shall remain the exclusive property of Citynet Datacom Ltd.

12.2. The 247Spares Logo is our registered trade mark and exclusive property and must not be used or infringed in any way as this will result in litigation and damages or an account for any profit generated when used without our prior authorisation. We may also seek injunctive relief in addition to or as an alternative to damages


13.1. If any provision or terms set out above shall become or be declared illegal, invalid, or unenforceable for any reason whatsoever, such term or provision shall be excluded from the other terms and provisions, which will still be construed as all the terms and conditions governing this agreement for the provision of quotes.

13.2. Service of any notice under this Agreement shall be deemed to have been duly given if it shall have been left at or sent by post to us at our registered office or in the case of a notice sent to you at an address which you have provided us or such address that we can establish from any details that you provide. If no geographic address for service is provided to us you accept service to the email address given in your Registration Form.

13.3. Any delay or failure by us to exercise a right or remedy shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall in no way affect our right later to exercise them

13.4. We will never call you regarding any inquiries about a quote or spare parts as we do not sell any goods. We may however liaise with you to clarify information you have submitted on the website, or to discuss a complaint, at our discretion, but will first identify ourselves to you before proceeding.



14.1. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion, which you will be notified of through our Website.


15.1. Any person who is not party to these terms shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any terms set out herein. This clause does not affect any right or remedy of any person which exists or is available otherwise than pursuant to that Act.


16.1. These Terms and Conditions (together with any policy referred to herein), constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to use of this website and any services we offer through it and superseed all previous agreements between us.

17. LAW

17.1. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
