After trying for several days to find an engine (and with very little mechanical knowledge) someone told me to try 247 Spares. After inputting my car registration, part required and my contact details, within an hour I was contacted by at least 8 different companies and found an engine at a very reasonable price including VAT and delivery with a 6 month warranty. I would recommend them to anyone. It just takes the stress and aggravation out of searching for car parts (especially when you have no idea what you are doing!)

As it turned out I did not make a purchase on this occasion (though I have bought from you before.) There were three different types of headlight and I did not know which one I needed so I had to leave it to my garage to sort out and they were able to repair what I already had. I was phoned by several firms which was a bit of a surprise. It has all happened by email before. They were all helpful apart from one person from Jap parts (who I have also bought from before) who not only quoted me four times the price that anyone else quoted but then proceeded to run down all the other firms who had phoned saying they do not know what they are talking about and they only want my credit card details. I was not likely to buy from him!

The item I was after is not the easiest item to find. You did put me in contact with people who did have the item. I still did not make a purchase due to either the cost or condition! However I shall continue to use you services in future.

The results from my enquiry were impressive. My problem was that I received 8 phonecalls and 11 emails about this one part which, in one respect was brilliant, but it diid mean I had to spend some time sifting through the various offerings. Maybe some more filters could be introduced on the search criteria to reduce the volumes a little and make it easier to make a quick decision. Otherwise, a very impressive result.
