I went on the internet to see if I could get a replacement gearbox for my Seat Alambra and the search engine gave me several choices. 247 spares was the first I opened and the process was very easy to follow, I only had to put in my registration number and all the details of my vehicle were listed. No searching through log books etc. The whole process was excellent and within a few hours I was receiving E Mails from several outlets with Quotes for a replacement gearbox and all reasonably priced. You have to remember that 247 spares put the outlets in contact with you and it is then up to you to negotiate with them. Overall very happy with 247s service.

Ultimately I got the part I wanted at a fair price-but it took a second listing after three suppliers offered the part, took payment details,then cancelled,one saying it was broken (fair enough,but dont they check first?) another that "it has been sold on e-bay" and quite a bit of messing about, so it was 12 days before I finally got the part.
